IAC Member's Webinar: Addiction and Substance Abuse: What to do when clients are addicted

The holiday period is a time that causes some to engage in increased substance use. This is compounded by what has already been a difficult and challenging year for many.  As people find ways to cope with stress and uncertainty, some turn to drugs and alcohol. Professionals report that substance use and addiction are on the rise. Join this webinar to hear from 3 of Bermuda’s addictions treatment and clinical support providers to better understand addiction and what you should do if you are working with a client or family where substance use is a concern. 

The webinar will feature perspectives from Dr. Grant Farquhar from Solstice, Gita Blakeney-Saltus from Pathyways, and Dr. Darrien Ray with the Reading Clinic and Milestones Ltd.  The dialogue will be facilitated by IAC’s Programme Coordinator.
